
PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has detected 30 new Covid-19 clusters in the past 24 hours, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today.
In a statement, he said 21 were workplace clusters, four were community clusters, three were linked to detention centres and one each involved a high-risk group and an education sector.
The clusters were detected in Johor, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Sarawak, Kelantan, Sabah and Pahang.

Johor
- Batu Bakri: a workplace cluster linked to factory workers. It involves Muar. 84 screened, 33 positive.
- Jalan Bukit Bakri: a workplace cluster linked to factory workers. It involves Muar. 30 screened, 11 positive.
- Jalan Sri Plentong Tiga: a workplace cluster linked to factory workers. It involves Johor Bahru. The index case was detected today. 52 screened, 9 positive.
- Jalan Haji Jaib: a workplace cluster linked to supermarket employees. It involves Muar. The index case was detected on July 6. 79 screened, 12 positive.
- Jalan Duku Kiri: a workplace cluster linked to construction workers in Gelang Patah. It involves Johor Bahru. The index case was detected on July 8. 58 screened, 7 positive.
- Persiaran Agas: a workplace cluster linked to factory workers at the Tanjung Agas Industrial Zone. It involves Tangkak, Muar and Segamat. The index case was detected on July 3. 206 screened, 18 positive.
Selangor
- Industri Nakhoda: a workplace cluster linked to employees of a company in Sungai Air Tawar. It involves Sabak Bernam. The index case was detected on July 4. 50 screened, 8 positive.
- Jalan Desa Putera: an education sector cluster linked to staff of a learning centre in Desa Putra. It involves Klang. The index case was detected on June 23. 34 screened, 14 positive.
- Industri Jalan Satu Selesa Jaya: a workplace cluster linked to factory workers in Seri Kembangan. It involves Hulu Langat. 17 screened, 14 positive.
- Pagar Taman IKS: a cluster linked to detainees at a detention centre in Taman IKS PKNS, as well as their close contacts. It involves Kuala Selangor. 101 screened, 51 positive.
- Zone T Selatan: a workplace cluster linked to employees of a firm in KLIA. It involves Sepang and Kuala Langat. 254 screened, 55 positive.
- Industri Jalan Kusta: a workplace cluster linked to factory workers in Sungai Buloh. It involves Gombak and Petaling. 45 screened, 18 positive.
- Industri Jalan Gombak Batu 11: a workplace cluster linked to employees of a service company in Gombak. 47 screened, 31 positive.
- Industri Jalan Telok Gong: a workplace cluster linked to factory workers in Port Klang. It involves Klang. 101 screened, 46 positive.
Kuala Lumpur
