In a statement, he said nine of them were workplace clusters while another nine involved the community. Three were linked to high-risk groups and two involved the education sector.

The clusters were detected in Selangor, Perak, Kelantan, Johor, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak and Kuala Lumpur.

Kelantan

• Kampung Bakong Hilir: a community cluster. It involves Pasir Mas. The index case was detected on Sept 18. Eight screened, seven positive.
• Kampung Pauh Sembilan: a community cluster in Tawang. It involves Bachok. The index case was detected on Sept 20. 37 screened, 21 positive.
• Kedai Pasir Tumboh: a workplace cluster linked to a market in Desa Darul Naim. It involves Bachok, Kota Bharu and Kuala Krai. The index case was detected on Sept 13. 16 screened, nine positive.
• Kampung Chat Meranti: a community cluster in Mukim Kubang Gadong. It involves Pasir Mas. The index case was detected on Sept 18. 15 screened, 14 positive.
• Panggong Lalat: a workplace cluster linked to a public administration institution in Felcra Panggong Lalat. It involves Gua Musang. The index case was detected on Sept 19. 25 screened, 10 positive.
• Taman Tengku Ahmad Rithauden: a community cluster in Melor. It involves Kota Bharu. The index case was detected on Sept 6. 15 screened, 10 positive.
• Kampung Simpangan: a community cluster. It involves Tumpat and Kota Bharu. The index case was detected on Sept 11. 17 screened, 12 positive.
• Kampung Limbat Dewan Beta: a community cluster in Mukim Dewan Beta. It involves Kota Bharu. The index case was detected on Sept 8. 22 screened, 15 positive.

Selangor

• Industri Empat Jalan Rukun: a workplace cluster linked to a factory in Batang Berjuntai. It involves Kuala Selangor. 28 screened, nine positive.

• Jalan Kebun Nenas 4A: an education sector cluster linked to an educational centre in Bandar Putera 2. It involves Klang and Kuala Langat. 61 screened, 40 positive.
• Industri Dua Jalan Teratai: a workplace cluster linked to a factory in Jalan Teratai. It involves Klang. 155 screened, 26 positive.

Johor

• Jalan Ban Foo: a workplace cluster linked to a factory in Ulu Tiram. It involves Johor Bahru. 185 screened, 52 positive.
