In a statement, he said nine of them were workplace clusters, two were community clusters, two linked to private higher education institutions, one involved religious activity and one a high-risk group.

The clusters were detected in Johor, Selangor, Kelantan, Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Perak and Negeri Sembilan.

Johor

• Jalan Berjaya Lapan: a workplace cluster linked to a factory in Taman Perindustrian Berjaya, in Johor Bahru. The index case was detected on Oct 16. 93 screened, 51 positive.
• Jalan Industri Utama Grisek: a workplace cluster linked to a factory in Taman Utama Grisek, Tangkak. 102 screened, 26 positive.
• Jalan Bakau Kluang: a workplace cluster linked to a factory in Kampung Yap Tau Sah, Kluang. The index case was detected on Oct 16. 108 screened, 19 positive.
• Jalan Gambir Dua: a workplace cluster linked to a market in Bukit Gambir, Tangkak. The index case was detected on Oct 17. 33 screened, 12 positive.
• Jalan Camar Tiga: a high-risk group cluster linked to a care centre in Taman Perling, Johor Bahru. The index case was detected on Oct 14. 58 screened, 15 positive.

Selangor

• Industri Dua Jalan Bukit Kemuning: a workplace cluster linked to a factory in Seksyen 34, in Klang. 100 screened, 49 positive.
• Jalan Suasa Banting: a workplace cluster linked to a supermarket warehouse in Banting, Kuala Langat. 48 screened, 22 positive.

Kuala Lumpur

• Jalan Tangsi: a workplace cluster linked to a public institution in Tasik Perdana, affecting Cheras, Kepong, Titiwangsa and Kuala Selangor. The index case was detected on Oct 16. 47 screened, 11 positive.
• Jalan Pantai Permai Sembilan: an education sector cluster linked to students of a learning institution in Desa Kerinchi, Lembah Pantai. The index case was detected on Oct 15. 71 screened, seven positive.

Perak

• Gunung Besout Dua: a community cluster in Sungkai, Batang Padang. The index case was detected on Sept 28. 163 screened, 49 positive.
• Bidor Stesen: a community cluster in Kampung Baru, Batang Padang. The index case was detected on Sept 28. 62 screened, 33 positive.

Kelantan

• Kampung Kelubi Pasir Puteh: a workplace cluster linked to a public institution in Kampung Kelubi, affecting Pasir Puteh, Kota Bharu and Tanah Merah. The index case was detected on Oct 8. 23 screened, 17 positive.

Sarawak

• Putai 2: a workplace cluster linked to a construction site in Bukit Mabong. The index case was detected on Oct 9. 106 screened, 30 positive.

Negeri Sembilan

• Seri Serting: an education sector cluster linked to students of a learning institution in Bandar Seri Jempol, Jempol. The index case was detected on Oct 8. 124 screened, 22 positive.

Melaka
