FMT refers to our article on Sept 9, 2021 titled: PKR woman lodges report over Kulim airport project.

The article covered, among others, a police report lodged by one Sungai Siput PKR member against the Kedah menteri besar and the allegations made by the politician against the ECK Group and a key figure in the company.

We have been unable to ascertain or verify the politician’s allegations in the report. As such, we have decided to withdraw and take down the article, which may have injured the reputation and credibility of ECK.

It has come to our attention that a website known as putera.daily had also published an article: “PANAS, Projek lapangan terbang Kulim, MB Kedah berdepan laporan SPRM” which similarly covered, among others, the politician’s allegations against ECK.

The putera.daily article had cited FMT as its source. We wish to disassociate ourselves from the putera.daily article
