Earlier, Hajiji arrived at the palace at around 4.30pm after being summoned to presumably submit the statutory declarations from Sabah assemblymen who are in support of him remaining as the chief minister.
He was seen waving to the group of reporters who had gathered outside the palace since afternoon but did not stop to address them.
So far, no other party leaders have been seen entering the palace.
Meanwhile, Sabah Umno chief Bung Moktar Radin posted on Facebook pictures of him and other party leaders meeting Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his deputy, Mohamad Hasan, earlier today in Kuala Lumpur.
In his post, Bung said the Sabah leaders were there to discuss the current political crisis in Sabah with the federal Umno leaders.
“Every beginning must have an end! The struggle has just begun and the journey is still a long way to go,” he posted.
Meanwhile, a Warisan source has confirmed that party president Shafie Apdal will not be going to the palace for the time being. He did not give any reason.
