PETALING JAYA:
The police have arrested several people after a fight broke out between two rival motorcycle gangs at a Pandan Indah restaurant in Ampang Jaya, Selangor.

Ampang Jaya police chief Azam Ismail said police received a call at 10.56pm last night about a fight at the restaurant.

Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan later confirmed that seven suspects were in custody.

Hussein said all the suspects were apprehended on the same day, and the investigation revealed that the cause of the brawl was a misunderstanding between the two gangs.

He said the case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting.

A 30-second video went viral, showing more than 10 men exchanging punches and throwing chairs at each other.
