KTM Komuter, ETS services disrupted due to crane collapse

KTMB says a power line has been severed and it will take time to repair.

KTMB said it would lay on bus services after its Komuter and ETS services were disrupted.
KUALA LUMPUR:
KTM Komuter and electric train service (ETS) in the Klang Valley were today disrupted when a crane toppled near the track at an unspecified location.

In a statement, rail operator Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) said the incident obstructed both tracks of the Rawang-Tanjong Malim route.

It added that the Komuter sector of Tanjong Malim-KL Sentral-Tanjong Malim route will end at Serendah, while an announcement would be made later for the ETS.

“The incident will take time to restore as the power line has been severed,” KTMB said.

KTMB said it would be providing bus services for passengers between Sungai Buloh and Serendah, and the KL Sentral-Sungai Buloh -Tanjung Malim route for ETS passengers.

“KTMB apologises for any inconvenience caused,” the statement said.
