PETALING JAYA: Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid, a deputy director in Bukit Aman’s Special Branch, will become the new management director of the federal police.
Aziz, whose appointment is effective Jan 13, will replace Azmi Kassim, who will take over as head of Bukit Aman’s internal security and public order department on Dec 16.
Azmi, a former Kuala Lumpur police chief, had been leading the federal police’s management department since April last year.
Aziz previously served as Penang deputy police chief and deputy director of Bukit Aman’s narcotics crime investigation department.
