Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa confirmed the matter in a text message. “A report was lodged at the Wangsa Maju police station and the claim is being investigated,” he said.
Rusdi also said the activist had gone to the Wangsa Maju station yesterday to have her statement taken over her participation in a pro-Palestine rally in January.
An excerpt of her police report was posted online by Muda secretary-general Amir Hadi, according to Malaysiakini.
The activist allegedly claimed that a male policeman in plain clothes had asked her to follow him into a small cubicle, after she had asked to go to the toilet.
She alleged that the policeman said he wanted to teach her how to lock the door, which she noted was “just an ordinary latch”.
