PETALING JAYA: MMAG Holdings Bhd has appointed businessman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak as its new non-independent and non-executive chairman effective today.
Farhash is also the executive chairman of Apex Equity Holdings Bhd, Excel Force MSC Bhd, and Key Alliance Group Bhd.
He is also serving as non-independent, non-executive chairman of 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd and sits on the board of directors of Berjaya Construction Bhd and Bukit Kiara Resort Bhd.
MMAG said Farhash has also emerged as a substantial shareholder after acquiring a 20% stake in the company.
In a Bursa filing today, the firm said the businessman brought with him over a decade’s worth of experience in business, consultancy and advisory across various sectors.
