PETALING JAYA: Two investigation papers have been opened after an express bus driver was allegedly beaten by two men who were in a car that his bus hit.
Kluang police chief Bahrin Noh said both parties made three police reports regarding the incident on Tuesday afternoon, which occurred at Km58.5 of the North-South Expressway heading north.
“A preliminary investigation found that two men are believed to have injured the bus driver as they were angry about the accident,” he said in a Harian Metro report.
The case is being investigated for voluntarily causing hurt under Section 324 of the Penal Code, and negligent driving under Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959.
