The anti-graft agency said its Perlis office was shuttered from today as the access roads to the building were impassable due to floodwaters.
As to when the office would reopen, it said this would depend on the flood situation in the northern state.
“Corruption complaints can be filed directly through MACC’s official channels, such as our website, complaints portal, 1800-88-6000 hotline and the MACC mobile application,” it said in a statement.
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) was also forced to close its office in Perlis due to rising floodwaters.
In a statement, MCMC said its Perlis office would temporarily operate from the National Information Dissemination Centre at the Seri Sena People’s Housing Programme.
A total of 1,382 people in Perlis have been forced to evacuate their homes due to the floods.
