
The Sabah fire and rescue department operations centre said the premises was owned by a local company, Bernama reported. The blaze is believed to have spread from a forest fire nearby.
The department received an emergency call at 1.10pm and the first fire engine arrived at the scene eight minutes later.
Twenty-five personnel from the Tuaran fire and rescue station, assisted by firefighters from Lintas and Kota Kinabalu, as well as six police officers, were deployed to bring the blaze under control.
Firefighters saved 30 vehicles parked there.
The fire was brought under control at 3.31pm.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
