PETALING JAYA:
The Kelana Jaya LRT line is experiencing delays due to a tree branch which fell on the tracks near Taman Paramount here.

Rapid KL, the line’s operator, said alternative train arrangements have been activated.

It said that trains from Putra Heights would end at the Kelana Jaya station and turn back towards Putra Heights.

Shuttle train services are running between Kelana Jaya station and Taman Jaya on Platform 2, while trains from Gombak will end at Taman Jaya and head back towards Gombak.

“Repair works are ongoing. As part of safety procedures, trains will have longer dwell times at platforms,” it said in a statement today.

This comes a day after the line was disrupted due to a power outage between the Glenmarie and Ara Damansara stations.
