
PETALING JAYA: The decomposed body of a man wrapped in canvas was found among rocks by the shore at Pulau Angsa in Jeram, Kuala Selangor, on Saturday.
Kuala Selangor police chief Azaharudin Tajudin said police received a call from an angler at about 4.50pm reporting the discovery of a suspicious-looking package, tied with a rope and emitting a foul smell, Bernama reported.
The body was taken to Al-Sultan Abdullah Hospital’s forensic department for a post-mortem.
The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was strangulation. The victim has yet to be identified.
