
PETALING JAYA: EPF is no longer a substantial shareholder in Sunway Healthcare Holdings Bhd after disposing of one million shares earlier this month, reducing its stake to below 5%.
The retirement fund sold the shares for about RM1.83 million on April 16, The Edge reported.
Following the disposal, EPF holds about 574.97 million shares in the company.
EPF was among 20 cornerstone investors in Sunway Healthcare’s initial public offering, which raised nearly RM3 billion.
It emerged as a substantial shareholder on March 18 with a 5.13% stake, after acquiring 62.971 million shares via a dividend-in-specie distribution, 499.808 million shares during the IPO, and a further 34.605 million shares.
