
PETALING JAYA: Nur Dhabitah Sabri qualified for the women’s 3m springboard final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after placing among the top 12 in today’s semifinal at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
She kept in touch with the top of the leaderboard throughout the contest, impressing the judges enough after each dive.
The 22-year-old lass produced a confident and consistent performance to rank sixth with a score of 312.60 points in her second Games outing and will now compete in the final tomorrow.
Medal favourite Shi Tingmao of China won the contest with 371.45 points, followed by compatriot Wang Han (346.85 points) and Canadian Jennifer Abel (341.40 points) rounding off the top three.
