When Sarla Nadarajan first met Bairou, she was immediately slain by the Jack Russell Terrier.

Bairou had wooed Sarla with his adorable, loving and warm charm that still captivates her till this day.

Little did she know however, that she had adopted a ferociously energetic doggo who was about to turn her world (and house) upside down. In a good way of course.

The 10-year-old, mocha-faced canine is filled with loads of life and as such, is very welcoming to Sarla’s house guests, especially her family and friends.

In spite of being such a confident and tenacious hound, Bairou does require a lot of attention, especially when it comes to his food and overall comfort. In fact, Bairou sleeps with Sarla on her bed with his own little mattress.

Even so, this pint-sized terrier is an intelligent and playful terror in his own right.

“If any object falls on the house floor, he will go after it like a deadly piranha and that’s the end of that object!” quipped Sarla, who has lost many small figurines, shoes, slippers and the like, to Bairou’s quick paws.

The only way some objects do survive in Sarla’s home, is when there’s a thunderstorm or loud fireworks, as Bairou is afraid of sudden loud noises and will quietly hide away in a corner.

“But he’s such a loving and expressive boy too,” shared Sarla, who enjoys Bairou’s many warm hugs and tickles.

True to his warm personality, Bairou hates to say goodbye to guests whom he’s close or familiar with, and can sometimes refuse to let them go.

Through it all, it is Bairou’s tremendous amount of energy that keeps Sarla both amazed and on her feet.

“He’s got great agility, especially at games. To date, he’s won comfortably in all five dog events he’s taken part in.”

Keep running and winning Bairou!
