Zoey is a calico kitty that won over Rachel Ng’s heart some time back. Prior to that, she was a curious stray who would appear from the nooks and corners of Rachel’s residential area.
At six months of age, Zoey is the cuddliest kitten at Rachel’s home and loves being the centre of attention all the time.
“She usually wants someone to pet her while she’s eating and she will do anything for attention, including creating a mess!” quipped Rachel.

Cheeky by nature, Zoey loves to follow Rachel all around the house and even waits for her human right outside the bathroom at times.
“But I just love it when she cuddles up next to me for a nice long nap,” said Rachel.
The curious kitty has been enjoying her new lease of life with Rachel, as she has her own room to relax in each night.

“Every morning, she’ll ‘meow’ so loudly and wake up the entire house, especially when she hears our alarms ringing.”
While Zoey loves her own ‘me time’, she has shown huge excitement to be part of her new family, or as Rachel says, “She wants to be involved in everything.”
However, since moving in, playful little Zoey has developed a unique hobby thanks to an interesting toy.
“Her favourite toy has to be the laser pointer, as she’ll literally go crazy (like a possessed cat) whenever she sees the red dot,” laughed Rachel.

To make things a little more exciting, the spunky kitten has been taking her time to learn about her natural agile reflexes.
“Zoey can be quite clumsy at times, as she doesn’t know how to land properly when she jumps,” said Rachel, noting that many household items have paid the price for being in Zoey’s way.

Much to Rachel’s frustration, this little feline also loves to make a mess of her meals.
“Unlike my other cats, Zoey eats messily like a baby; she loves to fling her kibbles everywhere when she’s eating and leave it that way. My other cats clean up after her.”

Despite her clumsy antics and her constant need for attention, Rachel still finds it difficult to be truly upset with Zoey, especially when the little miss springs her ‘secret weapon’.
“I find it hard to get angry with her because she usually strikes her innocent-looking face whenever she does something cheeky and naughty.”
Believe us Rachel, that innocent face is hard to resist.
