JAKARTA:
Indonesia’s work from home policy has helped reduce consumption of subsidised gasoline by nearly 9%, coordinating minister for economic affairs Airlangga Hartarto said on Tuesday, reported Xinhua.

Following an evaluation of the policy over the past two months, the Indonesian government has decided to continue the work-from-home arrangement.

According to the minister, the continuation of the policy is part of the government’s economic measures aimed at maintaining growth momentum amid global economic challenges.

The government is expected to issue a new circular on work from home arrangements for civil servants, while separate guidelines for state-owned enterprises and the private sector will be prepared by relevant authorities.
