ENGLAND 2 DENMARK 1 (AFTER EXTRA-TIME)
Many will automatically think of Harry Potter whenever the mystic arts are mentioned. But this morning, another Harry helped England break a curse – and he doesn’t go to Hogwarts. Three Lions skipper Harry Kane’s leadership exorcised ghosts of tournaments past more than once at Euro 2020. Having overcome Germany for the first time in the knockout stage, the last four hoodoo is also now over as England prepare for a final after 55 years. The magical Kane can certainly take credit for that.
FUN FACT: Gareth Southgate’s side is the 13th team to reach a Euros final, and the first newcomers since Greece and Portugal in 2004.
