Wau Animation CEO Usamah Zaid said production work has begun and the screening date has been set for the end of next year.
“Similar to the making of ‘Ejen Ali’ the series, part of the production costs of the film will be from Wau Animation and Media Prima.
“The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) will also provide funds for the project,” he told reporters after screening the trailer in conjunction with the Kre8tif! 2018 Conference & Creative Content Festival organised by MDEC today.
Usamah said the film, which employs local talents in its special effects segment, was also targeted to be screened in all Asian countries.
“The Ejen Ali series has been screened in 13 countries in the region.
“Indonesia will be the first foreign nation where we will promote the film as there are many fans there and the series is among the top three most popular children’s programmes on the MNCTV station there,” he added.
