KUALA LUMPUR: Now you can order in your favourite grub while binge watching Netflix dramas in your PJs for a whole lot less because foodpanda has lowered its delivery fees across the country.
Now isn’t that a fantastic New Year wish come true!
The on-demand international food delivery service officially announced that the lower delivery fees had taken effect on Jan 1 nationwide.
Ravenous residents in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya will now only have to pay RM3 instead of RM5 for delivery while customers in Penang, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu will only have to pay RM2.
In addition to that, the minimum spend has been reduced to RM10 nationwide, making it hugely possible to order in for only one person now.
Speaking about the revised rates, Sayantan Das, Managing Director, foodpanda Malaysia said, “We wanted more Malaysians to be able to order anything from their local mamak right up to a fine dining restaurant and have it delivered right to them.
“The revised pricing is a way for us to offer our customers better value for their money when ordering in their favourite food and appeal to customers looking to order in a meal for one.”
So make the most of the opportunity to get all your favourites delivered right to your doorstep for way cheaper this year.
Since it first started, the on-demand food delivery service has grown to more than 27,000 partner restaurants in more than 190 cities across 10 Asian and Central Europe countries globally.
Besides Malaysia, foodpanda operates in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Pakistan, Taiwan, Philippines, Bangladesh, Romania and Bulgaria. It belongs to Delivery Hero, the worldwide leader of the food delivery industry.
