- ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ (film)
After being bitten by a radioactive spider, Brooklyn teen Miles Morales gets a crash course in web-slinging from his alternate-dimension counterparts. This hit 2018 animated film features the voices of Shameik Moore and Jake Johnson, among others.

- ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ (film)
A high school teen gets entangled in a lie after the letter he wrote himself is mistaken for a final note from a schoolmate who had killed himself.
This film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical stars its original theatrical lead Ben Platt, reprising the role of a high schooler at age 27, as Hollywood oft does.
- ‘Gamera Rebirth’ (series)
It’s the summer of 1989, and four kids in Tokyo witness the emergence of the turtle kaiju Gamera, who bravely stands up against giant human-eating monsters. An anime, one hopes.
- ‘Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight’, season 3 (series)
