The event is unfolding alongside Chery Group’s Global Partner Business Summit, bringing together more than 3,000 partners, dealers and supply-chain representatives from around the world – a clear signal of the scale and momentum Omoda Jaecoo is building internationally.
In just a short time, the brand has already expanded into over 64 international markets, rapidly evolving from a new entrant into one of the automotive industry’s fastest-growing world players.
But the story goes beyond sales figures: it reflects a growing ecosystem of drivers, partners and communities drawn to a brand that blends design, performance and forward-looking mobility solutions.
Technology drives momentum
Central to this growth is Omoda Jaecoo’s Super Hybrid System (SHS), a next-generation platform powering both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and hybrid (HEV) models.
More than just a drivetrain, SHS is engineered to deliver high performance, strong efficiency and extended range, making electrified mobility more practical for everyday drivers.
Designed with global adaptability in mind, the system is already being integrated into key production models across markets in Europe, Southeast Asia and Latin America, reinforcing the brand’s push to make new-energy mobility more accessible worldwide.
Ahead of the auto show, Omoda Jaecoo also put its hybrid lineup through a rigorous real-world test in the “9 Countries Super Hybrid Marathon”.
Held over two days, the programme brought together media representatives from nine markets for a 625km drive across highways, mountain roads and lakeside terrain in China.
Models including the Omoda 5 HEV, Jaecoo J5 HEV and Jaecoo J7 HEV were tested for performance, ride comfort and efficiency across varied conditions.
The experience was designed to demonstrate the brand’s “One Car, Two Vibes” philosophy – combining efficient mobility with dynamic driving performance.
Global growth, strong trust
Omoda Jaecoo’s momentum is evident across key global markets, underpinned by both strong sales performance and growing partner confidence.
In Europe, the brand has expanded into 16 markets, surpassing 220,000 units sold within just two years of entry. In the United Kingdom, it has quickly established a foothold, achieving over 2% market share within nine months and breaking into the top 10 within 17 months.

Closer to home, Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia is maintaining similarly strong growth. The brand recorded more than 17,800 units sold last year alone – a 153% year-on-year increase – and has already surpassed 25,000 units on Malaysian roads since its 2024 debut.
This growth is supported not just by its product lineup but by a robust global ecosystem built on close collaboration with local partners. An integrated supply chain and aftersales network have enabled the brand to scale rapidly while maintaining consistency in customer experience.
That trust is reflected in market recognition. In Spain, a leading industry study ranked Omoda Jaecoo as the most recognised brand among local dealers, with an exceptional satisfaction score of 9.9 out of 10.
The future of everyday driving
Omoda Jaecoo’s ambitions extend beyond vehicles. Backed by continuous investment in research and development, the brand is expanding into areas such as intelligent driving systems, smart cockpits and next-generation powertrains.
Its humanoid robot, Mornine, is already deployed in more than 30 countries, including Malaysia, where it enhances customer engagement through product demonstrations and interactive assistance in showrooms and exhibitions.
At the Beijing Auto Show, Omoda Jaecoo is also debuting its Valet Parking Driver, a smart system designed to take the stress out of parking. The technology enables vehicles to autonomously locate a parking space, park themselves, and even return to the driver – all without human intervention.
Demonstrated on SHS hybrid models in real-world scenarios, the system reflects the brand’s broader vision of making everyday driving more seamless and intuitive.
As Omoda Jaecoo moves beyond its first million vehicles, its focus is shifting towards deeper market expansion, advanced technologies, and more sustainable mobility solutions.
