We didn’t want to be DAP’s ‘yes man’, says PAS veep

Idris Ahmad says PAS and DAP used to partner up strategically to deal with specific issues and topics.

PETALING JAYA:
PAS ended its partnership with DAP because it did not want to serve as the latter’s “yes man”, says the Islamic party’s vice-president Idris Ahmad.

According to China Press, Idris said when PAS and DAP were working together, both parties did not interfere with each other’s principles and positions.

He added that PAS had “strategically” collaborated with DAP only to deal with specific issues and topics, including pushing for the repeal of the Internal Security Act 1960.
