BUTTERWORTH:
A foreign worker has been found stabbed to death apparently because he had turned up the volume of a radio while his compatriot was asleep in the same room.

Police said the man was found dead at 1pm with stab wounds in his chest.

NST Online reported that police believe another Myanmar man, in his 20s, attacked the victim after he had turned up the volume while the suspect was asleep.

It is the second killing reported this week in which a petty dispute led to the death of a foreign worker.

An Indonesian worker in Sandakan was reportedly killed after he refused to lend his compatriot a cigarette lighter.
