KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a prisoner Chow Kim Liong, 44, who escaped while receiving treatment at the Kajang Hospital last night.
Kajang district police chief ACP Othman Nanyan said the man was still wearing red prison pants and a white t-shirt with his left hand in a plaster cast.
He is believed to have fled to here on a RapidKL bus about 8.10pm.
“Anyone with information about the prisoner can contact the Kajang Prison or the nearest police station,” he said when contacted by Bernama last night.
Othman said a call was received regarding the incident from the hospital at 9.15pm last night, adding that the prisoner’s last known address was Taman Intan Baiduri here.
