
He said he was relieved that today’s state assembly sitting went smoothly and did not turn out to be a “hot situation” as predicted by certain quarters.
“Praise to Allah, the situation today was under control and nothing happened. The political conflict in Terengganu is resolved.
“The important thing now is for us to move forward to ensure the people’s development agenda is given priority,” he told reporters when met after the State Assembly sitting.
He said that rather than the reverse, the political crisis in the state had made Umno and Barisan Nasional more prepared to face any eventuality in the next general election.
