KUALA LUMPUR:

The 49-year-old suspect was picked up at an apartment in Bukit Jalil, together with RM65,837, drugs worth about RM90,000, five pistols and 268 rounds of ammunition.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Amar Singh Ishar Singh said initial investigations revealed the suspect had been processing syabu at the unit over the past two months to cater to the local market.

He said police found a black liquid believed to be “meth oil” in three plastic containers, two glass jars containing hydrochloric acid and ethanol absolute, a sack filled with white powder and various beakers.
