
Speaking to reporters outside the federal police headquarters here today, he said he had spent an hour giving his statement, accompanied by a lawyer.
The Pekan MP, who had shared a screenshot of the post in question, also said he was asked to give his statement as a witness.
“They asked me about the post, the reasons for my post and what I made of it.”
However, he declined to reveal more as investigations are ongoing.
“I will leave it to the police to take further action,” he added.
The “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans” page was said to have uploaded an insulting post towards Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah on Sept 29.
Najib had shared a screenshot of the post which called on the Chinese to protest against the sultan over the removal of bilingual road signs in the state.
He also said the page was linked to Nga.
Nga, who is Perak DAP chairman, denied that either he or DAP were involved in the post.
He went to Bukit Aman earlier this month to have his statement recorded for investigation under sedition.
