PETALING JAYA: Prasarana Malaysia Berhad has issued a circular to its staff instructing them to cooperate with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) which is said to be probing three of its officers.
Its CEO, Mohamed Hazlan Mohamed Hussain, said the government-linked company had always upheld integrity in all aspects of its business.
“If we find there are projects that have elements of ambiguity or which have deviated from standard operating procedures, we will inform the integrity officer from MACC, who is based in Prasarana, and seek the officer’s advice,” he said in a statement.
Prasarana, Hazlan added, will give its full cooperation to the anti-graft agency to facilitate its investigations.
FMT has contacted MACC for more details.
