PETALING JAYA: A fight at a nasi kandar restaurant in Bandar Rimbayu, Telok Panglima Garang, on April 15 is believed to have been triggered after a customer was reprimanded for smoking.
Kuala Langat police chief Akmalrizal Radzi said they are tracking down those involved.
A preliminary investigation found that a dispute broke out between two groups after one person was ticked off for smoking, which escalated into a fight, Bernama reported.
The case is being investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code for affray, Akmalrizal said in a statement.
Earlier, a 47-second CCTV clip showing several people fighting at the restaurant went viral on social media.
