
PH handed over the request to assembly speaker Suhaizan Kayat at his office at Bangunan Sultan Ismail in Kota Iskandar here today, Bernama reported.
Leading the delegation was its coordinator Aminolhuda Hassan, who is also the state Amanah chairman and Parit Yaani assemblyman.
He was accompanied by Johor PKR deputy chairman and Bukit Batu assemblyman Jimmy Puah Wee Tse, Johor Amanah deputy chairman and Kota Iskandar assemblyman
Dzulkefly Ahmad and Johor DAP Socialist Youth head and Paloh assemblyman Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali.
Hasni, the Johor Umno chief, was sworn in as the state’s 18th menteri besar before Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar at Istana Bukit Serene on Feb 28 following the collapse of the PH federal government.
According to reports, the sultan had summoned all 56 assemblymen to hear their views, and later said after interviewing 54 of them the new coalition had the support of 28 assembly members while PH had the support of 26.
