Finance ministry cites uncertainty caused by Covid-19 outbreak as one reason for fuel prices dropping.

PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will drop across the board at midnight for the fourth consecutive week, the finance ministry announced this evening.

RON97 will drop by six sen and will retail at RM1.68 per litre, while RON95 will also come down six sen to RM1.38 per litre.

The price of diesel will also drop seven sen and will retail at RM1.68 per litre.

The new rates will be in effect from tomorrow till April 3.

According to the finance ministry, the drop in fuel prices is due to the continued decline in global crude oil prices and the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
