The MACC had yesterday spent about seven hours grilling the Warisan vice-president over allegations of road concession contracts being awarded directly to five contractors. These contracts were believed to be worth about RM1.5 billion.
Anthony, clad in a blue shirt and black slacks, arrived at the MACC office accompanied by his lawyer Cedric Choo and a number of his supporters at 2.50pm.
The Melalap assemblyman had yesterday contended the questioning was politically motivated by Warisan’s political rivals.
Anthony also said he had nothing to hide over the allegations, adding there was no case against him or the state government.
