KOTA KINABALU:Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) today announced that it will contest as many seats as possible in the Sabah election.

PCS president Anifah Aman confirmed this after Barisan Nasional chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi reportedly said the coalition is in discussion with the party to form an alliance for the polls on Sept 26.

In a Facebook post, Anifah said PCS will stand in as many seats as it could and will not be allied to or form a coalition with any party, especially those from the peninsula, for the election.

“There have been no discussions or negotiations regarding this as has been reported in the media,” he said.

There are 73 state seats in Sabah.
