Muhyiddin to meet all MBs, CMs tomorrow, says report

Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow confirms that the meeting will start at 9.30am tomorrow.

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin is said to have called for the meeting after the King decided against a proposal to declare an Emergency.

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will be meeting the menteris besar and chief ministers of all the states tomorrow morning in Putrajaya.

According to a report by The Malaysian Insight, a message was sent out after the Malay rulers finished their special meeting today at Istana Negara.

However, it was said that the meeting’s agenda was not disclosed.

Meanwhile, Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow confirmed to FMT that the meeting with Muhyiddin will start at 9.30am tomorrow.

Chow did not provide further details.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah today met Malay rulers on Muhyiddin’s proposals. The meeting started in the afternoon and ended at around 6pm.

It was later reported that the King had decided against declaring an Emergency, saying there is no need for one in any part of the country.

He also reminded politicians to stop politicking, which can disrupt the stability of the country’s administration and stressed the importance of Budget 2021 to carry out plans for the country.
