
PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has detected 18 new Covid-19 clusters in the past 24 hours, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today.
In a statement, he said 10 of them were workplace clusters, five involved religious activities and three were community clusters.
They were detected in Selangor, Sarawak, Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Melaka and Labuan.
Selangor
- Persiaran Perbandaran: a workplace cluster linked to a public administration centre. It involves Petaling, Klang and Hulu Langat. 208 screened, 25 positive.
- Kampung Mujahidin: a cluster linked to religious activity. It involves Kuala Langat. 195 screened, 41 positive.
- Jalan Kota Raja: a cluster linked to religious activity. It involves Klang. 68 screened, 37 positive.
- Industri Balakong Tiga: a workplace cluster linked to a service company. It involves Hulu Langat, Sepang and Petaling. 139 screened, 19 positive.
Labuan
- Simpang Sahari: a community cluster. The index case was detected on May 21. 119 screened, 9 positive.
Penang
- Sungai Keluang 2: a workplace cluster linked to a factory. It involves Barat Daya, Timur Laut and Seberang Perai Tengah. The index case was detected on May 16. 139 screened, 24 positive.
Johor
- Jalan Mengkibol: a workplace cluster linked to a factory. It involves Kluang. The index case was detected on May 19. 33 screened, 25 positive.
- Jalan Datin Halimah: a workplace cluster linked to a public institution. It involves Johor Bahru. The index case was detected on May 21. 86 screened, 10 positive.
- Jalan Surau Stulang: a cluster linked to religious activity. It involves Johor Bahru. 114 screened, 11 positive.

Kuala Lumpur
- Sri Penara: a cluster linked to religious activity. It involves Cheras. The index case was detected on May 16. 39 screened, 29 tested positive.
- Jalan Wan Kadir: a workplace cluster linked to a service company. It involves Kepong, Lembah Pantai, Titiwangsa, Cheras and Klang. The index case was detected on May 18. 91 screened, 8 positive.
- Taman Setiawangsa: a cluster linked to religious activity. It involves Cheras. The index case was detected on May 10. 39 screened, 29 positive.
Sarawak
- Jalan Simpang Tiga: a workplace cluster linked to a shopping mall. It involves Kuching, Samarahan, Serian and Asajaya. The index case was detected on May 17. 44 screened, 14 positive.
Melaka
- Jalan Tanjung Minyak: a community cluster. It involves Melaka Tengah. The index case was detected on May 16. 46 screened, 24 positive.
- Industri Kelemak: a workplace cluster linked to a factory. It involves Alor Gajah. The index case was detected on May 21. 27 screened, 25 positive.
Perak
- Jalan Selat: a workplace cluster linked to a public institution. It involves Manjung. The index case was detected on May 19. 142 screened, 13 positive.
- Susur Larut: a community cluster. It involves Larut, Matang and Selama. The index case was detected on May 10. 101 screened, 42 positive.
Negeri Sembilan
- Industri Senawang: a workplace cluster linked to a factory. It involves Kuala Pilah. 68 screened, 24 positive.
