On and around Sept 22, FMT published three articles about the alleged involvement of two minors from ISKL in spreading and selling photos that were deemed inappropriate.

Regretfully, we did not adequately verify the information provided to us at the time the said reports were published.

We did not reach out to the minors or to their parents to obtain their side of the story.

Having further investigated the matter, we have come to the conclusion that the information source for the articles was flawed and contained several inconsistencies. As such, the articles should not have been published at all.

It has been brought to our attention that there were no nude photographs of any person posted by the said two minors, nor did they peddle the photos for money.

We regret the misrepresentation of facts and the errors in judgment on our part. We unreservedly offer our sincere apology to the two minors and their respective families.
