Water supply in 156 areas in Sepang and Kuala Langat to resume from 6.30pm

Several areas in Sepang and Kuala Langat were affected by water cuts after a pipe burst in Salak Tinggi yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR:
Water supply is expected to be restored in stages from 6.30pm today to 145 areas in Sepang and 11 in Kuala Langat.

On its official Facebook page, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said as of 9am, emergency repair work had reached 55% and was expected to be completed at 6pm.

Air Selangor said water supply is expected to be fully restored at 6pm tomorrow.

The duration of the disruption and recovery in affected areas will vary depending on the distance of consumers’ premises and the water pressure in the distribution system, it added.

Consumers can contact Air Selangor’s official communication channels on the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram or at 15300 for information, or send complaints to the Help Centre at www.airselangor.com.
