PETALING JAYA: A policeman died after fainting during a marching exercise at the Sepang police headquarters today.
Corporal Khairil Idzhar Rodzi, 36, was stationed at the Dato’ Abu Bakar Baginda police station, Sinar Harian reported.
He was confirmed dead by a medical officer.
The cause of death has yet to be determined.
Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar and his wife conveyed their condolences to Khairil’s family for their loss in a post on the Selangor police Facebook page.
Khairil had served in the police force for 17 years.
