
PETALING JAYA; The health ministry reported 26 new Covid-19 deaths yesterday, according to its GitHub database. Of the total, three were classified as brought-in-dead (BID).
The death toll now stands at 31,513.
Kuala Lumpur topped the latest list of fatalities with seven deaths, followed by Selangor (4), Perak (3), Terengganu (3), Pahang (3), Kedah (2), Kelantan (1), Johor (1), Sarawak (1), Negeri Sembilan (1),
Penang, Melaka, Perlis, Sabah, Putrajaya and Labuan did not record any death.
As of midnight, there were 41,034 active cases, including 273 in intensive care units (ICU), 159 of whom require respiratory assistance.
There were also 3,547 recoveries reported.
The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia stands at 2,761,472 cases.
