PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan will soon be announcing its candidate for menteri besar if it wins the Johor state elections, says opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.
“There has already been a meeting on this, but there will be another PH meeting in a few days as PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail is Covid-positive,” he told reporters in Pemanis, Johor.
Asked when the coalition would release its election manifesto, the PH chairman said the matter would be discussed tonight.
Anwar maintained that campaigning was going smoothly for PH and PKR.
“According to reports, PKR and PH seem to be doing fine in places they’re contesting,” he said.
