Man found dead with slash wounds in Seri Kembangan

Serdang district police chief AA Anbalagan says the 30-year-old Malaysian had slash wounds on his face, neck and hands.

Police say more than one individual was believed to be involved in the incident.
PETALING JAYA:
A man was found dead in front of an eatery at Taman Bukit Serdang in Seri Kembangan yesterday morning with slash wounds on his face, neck and hands.

Serdang district police chief AA Anbalagan said the man was found unconscious by the public, who lodged a police report at 5.56am.

He said preliminary investigations found that the victim was a 30-year-old Malaysian who lived in the area.

“The victim was believed to have been killed with a sharp weapon like a parang. The body was sent to Hospital Serdang for an autopsy,” he said in a Berita Harian report.

He believed the incident involved more than one suspect and police were tracking down the individuals involved.
