PETALING JAYA: Police are looking for a lorry driver and witnesses to assist in an investigation into the death of a 65-year-old man in a hit-and-run accident at Jalan Desa Serdang in Seri Kembangan last Saturday.
Kajang police chief Naazron Abdul Yusof said the 9pm incident involved a white bonded lorry and a motorcycle ridden by the victim, Bernama reported.
An initial investigation found that the lorry had turned into a junction in a negligent manner, and the motorcyclist, who was travelling in the opposite direction, was unable to avoid it, police said.
Passers-by sent the victim to Serdang Hospital for treatment but he died yesterday from severe head injuries.
