Thunderstorms expected in 12 states on nomination day

PETALING JAYA:
The meteorological department, MetMalaysia, has predicted thunderstorms in 12 states on nomination day this Saturday.

Thunderstorms are expected in Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Selangor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Sarawak.

However, according to MetMalaysia’s website, thunderstorms are expected in the evening on Nov 5. The weather is mostly clear in the morning, save for a few places that will experience slight rain.

The weather in Putrajaya, meanwhile, is expected to be clear in the evening, with a chance of rain in the morning.
