The cause of her death has not been disclosed.

“It is with a heavy heart that we inform all that Mami (Mahani) has peacefully returned to God almighty,” said a source close to the family, according to Astro Awani.

It is understood that the final rites for her funeral will be conducted at Masjid Kampung Baru at 10am today and prayers will be held at Surau Hidayat in Seri Kembangan later.

Mahani will be laid to rest at the Bukit Kiara Muslim cemetery.

She leaves behind five children.
