
Upon arriving at the site, Sultan Abdullah was briefed on the latest situation by Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan.
Sultan Abdullah was also seen consoling distraught family members of those who died in the crash.
Earlier, Hussein confirmed that 10 people were killed in the incident which included the driver of a car and a motorcyclist that the Beechcraft Model 390 aircraft crashed into on the Guthrie Highway.
Meanwhile, caretaker Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari also conveyed his condolences to the families of those killed in the crash.
He also called on the public to refrain from sharing images of the crash and to avoid speculating on the incident out of respect for the victims’ families.
The light aircraft was travelling from the Langkawi International Airport to Subang Airport before it crashed at around 2.50pm.
The deceased included eight people who were on board the aircraft, as well as the driver of a car and a motorcyclist who were hit by the crashing plane.
