Cops probe stadium ruckus after KL-JDT match

A viral video posted today shows football supporters throwing objects and fireworks outside when leaving the stadium.

Police have begun investigations into the ruckus outside the football stadium in Cheras after KL City lost 1-5 to JDT.
KUALA LUMPUR:
Police have opened an investigation paper in connection with the ruckus which occurred outside the Cheras football stadium after yesterday’s Super League match between Kuala Lumpur City and Johor Darul Ta’zim.

A video clip of the incident went viral on YouTube today.

Cheras police chief Ravindar Singh said the 4m 42s video clip posted at 2pm today showed a group of supporters throwing objects and fireworks outside the venue when exiting the stadium after the match, which KL City lost to JDT by 1-5

“Police also received a report from a man about his car’s windscreen being smashed,” he said in a statement today.

He added that efforts are being made to track down those involved.
